Final Year Semester 1...

Just complete my second year last exam.
This semester is full stop with disappointment because i guess i ruined my Immunology.
I believe i can perform better in the exam but the time was just too short for allowing me to do so.
Immunology was so essential for me but i didn't answer it very well!
Anyway, what i am supposed to be glad of is i have accomplished the course for human anatomy and physiology.
It has been a long journey which full with obstacles and yet i overcome all of them!
Besides, i guess i did quite well in that. Hence, for me, life is always in balance and equilibrium.
But still i wish i can score better in Immunology. :(

However, now i am no longer second year! I am a final year student!
There is 1 more year to go to stay in USM main campus, i guess i will be reluctant to leave since there're too much memories which lie at this place.
But who can stop the time? and i have much more to pursue afterwards.
Separation is always undeniable and inevitable in life.

Meanwhile, final year is the most exciting year with most of the subjects that i look forward to register for.

Microbiology of Pathogens is the subject that lure me to pursue my bachelor degree in microbiology and i am so excited to deal with it.
Besides, this semester got quite a number of subjects that are closely relevant to medical field and this makes me much more excited.
I wish to further my study in infectious diseases and epidemiology and this semester subjects no doubt, has a very very important impact towards my future.
Furthermore, final year project begins at this semester and it is a very crucial and challenging subject that trained the students and equipped them with all the necessary skills to deal with scientific researches.
I wish i can acquire the topic that i like, i.e. medical microbiology, medical parasitology, medical entomology or immunology relevant project because i have stronger enthusiasms towards these fields.

I hope this semester go much more smoother than last semester and gladly, no more university subject left!
From this moment, i can fully focus on biology related subjects!
Much more challenges to come and i shall wait for their approaches and dedicate the best part of me to deal with!
That's all for these semester (about 4 months).
P/S: 6th of July is my 1st day internship, i shall tell more story regarding internship afterwards. All the best! :)

Preparing for my forth semester.

Finally i have registered for my forth semester subjects as listed below.

As you all can see, this semester is fulled with very challenging subjects which closely related to medical field.
However, i am truly passionate and enthusiastic to have more exposure towards these subjects.
I am so excited to begin my forth semester, which is the last semester for second year.
But there's a subject that i truly hate, i.e. Bahasa Malaysia IV.
Frankly speaking, it is a tough subjects with very high percentage of failure, i just hope i am not going to be one of them.

Next year i shall be doing final year project and of course i am going to graduate so soon.
It's just too fast, the time flows.
Besides, after this semester, i am going to proceed my internship in USM Health Campus and shall be dealing with medical parasitology and microbiology stuffs.
This is to ensure i gain maximum of skills, experiences and knowledge which are truly precious in my field.

Finally, my semester 1 results going to be revealed so soon on next week.
I hope i can see everything goes fine and i get what i have been paid for.
Studying microbiology is a bless of my life as i truly enjoy the moment dealing with those stuffs and i like to read a lot about microbes.
Well, i guess that's all for today.
Cheers! :D

First Post in Year 2015...

Finally i managed to accomplish my 3rd semester and i guess i have try my best for this semester.
Trying to recall back, it has been a long semester that's full with challenges and of course tons of lab reports.
Anyway, i am proud of myself to finish this and i have quite unexpectable results the coursework.
The results are as follow
- Mycology A
- Bacteriology A+
- Virology A
- Entomology A
- Techniques in Biotechnology A
- Invertebrate Zoology A+
- Ethnic Relation, the results didn't announce but i guess i will acquire and A or A- at least.

Well, i am very satisfied with my own performance for the coursework part and also the final.
I wish i could see what i'd expect for my final which will be announced provisionally on 5.2.2014 and full results will be available on 17.2.2014.
In 10.2.2014, i need to register for my next semester subjects and as what i have done previously, i have done the the planning which are listed as below.

I hope everything will go on smoothly and there's about 1.5 years more for me to graduate with my bachelor degree.
Lastly, Happy New Year and all the best to everyone. :)

2014/2015 USM Microbiology Course Structure.

USM just upgraded the 3 years course for pure sciences and most applied sciences to 4 years.
Hence, there will be a big change for their course structure.
Well, what i'd like to talk about is B.Sc. Biology (Microbiology) course structure.
Below are the synopsis:

So, i guess this big change made the course looks so much better. We can take elective and minor altogether at the same time.
Need 120 and above credits to graduate.
Previously most microbiology students mainly focused on viruses, bacteria and fungi.
However, in USM, they began to emphasized that microbiology students should know more about helminthes and protozoa too. Since these two creatures have a significant impacts towards our society and environments.
Well, i like this course so much.
Anyway, congratz to those juniors who are able to pursue this course, you all were very lucky to acquire such magnificient course structure, Well in fact i felt envious too :p
Finally, good day and good luck to all of you!

P/S: If anyone of you are interested to pursue this course and you have any doubts or enquiries, please do not hesitate to PM me. I am very willingly to solve your doubts. :)

Preparing...

Finally, i was able to register BZT211 and now my course registration eventually come to an end.
It's time for me to prepare what shall i bring for next semester and i need to begin my reading for next semester subjects as  the subjects are kinda heavy for next semester.
It's fun to take Biology subjects and this semester, I've registered for 6 biology subjects and 1 university subject (ethnic relationship)
It's kinda crazy to do like this, because it will be a serious burden for me to take about 2 major core subjects simultaneously!
I wish this semester i was still able to do well and last 2 semester.
It is excited to study Biology, but it is exhausted at the same time, Hehe.

Meanwhile, i was teaching my cousin biology too.
It's been long forgotten memory for me in form 4 Biology syllabus esp. those human physiology part.
I need to revise again and again to ensure i was able to explain well to him.
I wish i could be an excellent teacher :p
It's fun to acquire such experience though!
And it felt great to be as a teacher, Haha.
It's getting late now. I guess it's time for me to stop here.
Good night everyone~

Registered!

Finally, i've registered for the next semester subjects.

I want to register for BZT211- Invertebrate Zoology instead of BOE201- Biological Instrumentation.
But the system does not allow me to do so.
It said i haven't fulfill the prerequisite subjects, in fact i have already fulfill those subjects and pass all of them.
I have already informed School of Biological Sciences, and they told me it was the technical error, which will soon to be fixed.
Hence or otherwise, i can register the subjects manually in the office if this problem persists.
So, i'd feel like try it again when i return to USM.
I wish everything just can be fine.

Anyway, It has been a long journey to reach here.
Appreciate everyone and everything that support me from behind to achieve such wonderful moment and glory.
I've finally registered for the subjects i dreamed of!
Cheers~

New semester, new beginning. I must do better than what i did last sem.
I will perform the best of me during this semester.
To be continued...

Step into the new month - August.

Results announced. and I am quite satisfied with it.
Finally ended my 1st year degree with 1st class honour laureate.
Still, i wish i can do better next time for the 2nd year.
To maintain such honour.

Now it is August already, last month for me to stay here, at my hometown.
Going back to penang so soon.
Feeling like reluctant to go back  but excited for the next semester to proceed.
Quite biased yea? Hehe

Many people asked what have i done and what i plan to do in this semester break?
Part time job? I seek for perhaps but i have a lazy body. Lol
Tuition teacher? Yes, yes. I am doing this right now.
In fact i felt like i want to do sth much more significant and meaningful to me this semester break.
I'd feel like want to revise all the things that i learnt in 1st year and expose myself to the things that i am going to learn in 2nd year earlier.
So that my life will be easier in this coming semester.
Besides, for me, i am taking this course not only just to graduate, but i want to be knowledgeable, be the one true and qualified biologist or microbiologist perhaps.

This field suits me too much. I was glad that i could encounter it before i get regretted in my entire life.
3 more days to go to register course.
Still in dilemma whether to go into more applied field or more on theory field.
In fact, i'd prefer more on theory because i love to read.
Reading make me feel secured, make me feel like i have improved, compare with yesterday.
Anyway, applied field is more useful for future career.
Still considering. Indecisive.

Lastly, Nothing else to mention. Full stop here.
All the best then!

The provisonal result just annouced.
Fortunately, everything goes well.
I guess i was blessed. :)

Oh yeah, our major is fixed and the result also announced by today.
As expected, and blissfully. This is my major.

Well, next friday will be the real final result.
Again, i pray for the most success that i could have achieved.
All the best for everyone :)

To be contiuned...

p/s: from today onwards, i will be a junior microbiologist, how glad is that? :p

July...

It's almost middle of July now, my results are going to announce soon!
Well, i stayed at home for more than 2 weeks already.
Yet, i felt like i haven't do anything that's beneficial for my own.

Try to recall back what i have done so far,
Yes, i have been watching the drama "game of thrones".
It was extremely interesting and i love this drama series.
I have been teaching my cousin, as a tuition teacher for Biology.
Form 4 biology, kinda long time memories for me.
I have been playing games, conquered a mountain, etc. etc.

I planed to begin my 2nd year subjects study in this semester break.
Next semester is kinda heavy and tough.
Need to pay more initiative from now on.
Hopefully i can make it!

Next week, i wish i see all P!
Next next week, i wish i see all A! :p
Blissfully, I wish luck is always by my side.

Good night world!

Home!

After 1 year of pursuing my bachelor degree in USM,
Finally i have a break.
Will be home for about 2 months.

1 more month to go to check for my 2nd semester results.
I wish everything can be fine.
Afterwards i need to register my 2nd year 1st semester subjects.

I decided to apply for the subjects as below:
-Mycology
-Bacteriology
-Virology
-Entomology
-Entomology Practical
-Biological Instrumentation
-Hubungan Etnik

Seems like a bit heavy for next sem.
I look through the sources that i need to study for next semester.
I guess it is not as easy as what i've expected.
Too many things, besides too many new things.

Need to have some rest at this moment.
Used up too much energy for semester 2.
Enjoying my holiday.
Cheers!

p/s: happy holiday everybody! :)
